Preparation for early export of crude oil has moved a notch larger after the Kenya Pipeline Firm (KPC) put in Chinese language equipped Sh56 million tools to warmth crude at Mombasa’s onshore storage tanks.
The tanks are linked to the ship-loading facility within the Indian Ocean.
Appearing Kenya Pipeline Firm (KPC) managing director Hudson Andambi stated the company was fast-tracking the improve of the Kenya Petroleum Refineries Ltd (KPRL) services forward of Kenya’s maiden crude export from Lokichar oilfields in Turkana set for this month.
“The schedule for doing the primary export is between 24th and 26th hopefully. We hope every part is okay by then,” stated Mr Andambi.
