Alabama gas prices have fallen 3.5 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.31 Monday, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 3,348 stations.
Gas prices in Alabama are 10.2 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and 25.4 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
According to GasBuddy price reports, prices for regular unleaded in Alabama range from $1.82, which is also the cheapest in the nation, to $2.79. Nationwide, gas is as high as $5.49 per gallon.
The national average price of gasoline has fallen 6.8 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.63 Monday. The national average is down 15.9 cents per gallon from a month ago and 21.7 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
