Islanders who didn’t gasoline up yesterday didn’t have a lot of a shock on the pumps this morning.
The Island Regulatory and Appeals Fee elevated worth of fuel by 0.5 cents per litre (cpl) in its common weekly adjustment Friday.
Together with taxes, pump costs for normal unleaded gasoline at self-serve shops now ranges from 115.eight cpl to 117.Zero cpl.
Diesel costs elevated by 1.1 cpl, and can now vary from 124.Zero cpl to 125.1 cpl
The price of furnace oil went up by 1.6 cpl. The utmost worth for furnace oil is now 94.2 cpl, together with taxes.
There was no change in propane costs this week.
The fee’s subsequent scheduled worth adjustment is Friday, Aug. 30.
