The state’s Division of Ecology responded Saturday morning to an oil spill in Anacortes.
The spill occurred late Friday evening on the Shell Puget Sound Refinery, in accordance with a tweet from the company.
About 5 million gallons of Alaskan crude was being transferred from a barge to the ability when the spill occurred. It’s not but identified how a lot oil was spilled, the company mentioned.
